1. Introduction

Welcome to Games for Cats. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Process

You can use the app without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details to play the games.

The app may process device information, advertising identifiers when permitted, consent choices, and app usage information. We use this information to provide ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and improve the app.

If you use the community, Firebase creates a random account identifier. The app stores the sign-in credential in the device Keychain. The identifier does not include your name or email address.

If you submit a story, we process the cat name, title, story text, photo, language, moderation status, reactions, reports, and blocked-user choices.

3. Your Cat Profiles Stay on the Device

When you set up the app, we ask a few questions about your cat. The cat name, age, photo, and your setup answers are stored in the app on your device. We do not send them to our servers. Your play statistics and saved games are also stored on the device.

Cat profile photos remain on your device unless you choose to submit one with a community story. If you delete the app, this on-device information is deleted with it.

4. Community Content

Community submissions are stored with Google Firebase in European data locations. A submission stays private while it is pending or rejected. Approved stories and photos become public in the app and on our website.

You can remove your own story in the app. You can ask us to remove related community data by contacting us. We can keep limited safety records when needed to investigate abuse or meet legal duties.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Our application offers an optional Premium subscription and other in-app purchases. These are processed through the Apple App Store, and we do not have access to your payment information. All payment processing is handled securely by Apple. Our payment provider, RevenueCat, records the subscription state for an anonymous app user identifier so the app knows whether Premium is active. It does not receive your name, email address, or card details.

6. Advertising, Consent, and Analytics

We use Google Mobile Ads to show ads, including rewarded videos that open a game, a sound, or a Calm scene. We use Google's consent platform to record your privacy choices. Google may process device information, advertising identifiers when permitted, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic data under its own privacy terms.

Where required, the app asks for your consent before requesting ads. You can review your privacy choices later from the app settings. A Premium subscription removes all ads.

We use Google Analytics to understand app and website usage. Analytics data can include device, session, interaction, and diagnostic information. Your setup answers are sent only as general categories, such as the age range or the preferred prey. We do not send cat names, photos, story text, search text, or contact details to analytics.

7. Children's Privacy

Our application is suitable for all ages, but we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
